My struggle with thyroid disease – and the one thing that gave me my life back.

For two years I suffered from hyperthyroid disease. I had lost a lot of weight, couldn’t sleep at night, couldn’t dance anymore…And my medical doctor was strongly suggesting thyroid gland surgery.

So I went to Des Moines, IA to see the only NUCCA doctor in the area. She took precise x-rays, gave me the correction, and I was immediately calm and sleepy.

I slept for 6 hours in a row that night, which was something I had been unable to do in about 2 years.

I continued to feel better, gain muscle mass, and sleep 7-8 hours per night. My thyroid levels normalized and I was performing with a dance company again.

I continued to see this doctor about 4 times per year to be checked. She taught me how to hold my correction so that I didn’t need to visit her very often. I was healthy again, off of all medication and my family and friends were getting great results too.

Eventually I decided that I wanted to help people regain and maintain their health with NUCCA.

So, I went to chiropractic school so I could share this best-kept secret of health with my community.

I keep myself healthy and balanced with NUCCA Care, yoga, dance classes at the Omaha Academy of Ballet, spending time with family and friends and volunteering with the North Omaha Kiwanis Club.
